Calcium silicate board: a new ecological material for building green buildings

As a model of new environmentally friendly building materials in the 21st century, calcium silicate board is made of high-purity quartz sand, high-quality cement and natural plant fiber as the main raw materials, and is refined through advanced high-temperature and high-pressure steam curing technology. This innovative composite material not only fully retains the lightweight and easy-to-install characteristics of traditional gypsum board, but also achieves multiple performance breakthroughs through molecular structure optimization:

  • Excellent fire resistance: tested by the National Fireproof Building Materials Quality Supervision and Inspection Center, its fire resistance limit is more than 4 hours (GB/T 9978 standard), and its combustion performance reaches the A1 non-combustible standard, and it does not release toxic gases when exposed to fire;
  • Excellent moisture-proof performance: using nano-level hydrophobic treatment technology, water absorption rate ≤8% (GB/T 7019 standard), and still maintains structural stability in a 95%RH humidity environment;
  • Excellent durability: flexural strength ≥10MPa (GB/T 19631 standard), weathering test shows that the service life can reach more than 50 years;
  • Green environmental protection certification: passed the LEED green building materials certification, formaldehyde emission ≤0.1mg/L (E0 standard), and radioactivity indicators meet the environmental protection requirements of GB 6566-2010.
